According to many predictions, our world is going to be destroyed onDecember21st, 2012. What is this all about? Is there any truth to these rumours, or is this just another way to manipulate people into spending their hard earned cash on movie tickets, t-shirts, books and useless bits of crap.

Personally I am not convinced that anything is going to happen at all on December 21st, 2012 and really when it comes down to it, I don't want to be convinced. It's alright to read this stuff and get a little scared, like watching a horror movie and then going back to your normal life, but if you believed it 100% how would you function, what would be the point of going to work each day, what would be the point of anything you do. Is that the way to live the rest of your life?

I think what scares me more than these predictions is peoples reaction to them and what will 2012 be like if people think it is really going to end, will chaos ensue.

So read this stuff, get scared but then just get on with living, if it is really our last days just enjoy each day as much as you can and just remember you can't believe everything you read. In fact I started doing this website really to inform myself as I was hearing all these rumours and getting quite worried, but through researching each theory I am actually pretty sure now that nothing is going to happen and people are just hyping this up to make money.

So now I want this website to offer you a little common sense and reality about this subject to help counteract all the BS websites out there that really have some bizarre and totally inaccurate prophecies.

In each section on the left you will find the rumoured prediction and if I can find any scientists opposing opinion I will post that too, so you can get both sides of the story. I also have a latest news page where the latest news, predictions, conspiracies etc can be found.
